Ingredients
  

  • 900 g Pork cubed
  • 2 Apples peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1/4 Onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Fresh Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of the slow cooker bowl with oil
  • Season the pork with salt and pepper. Place in the slow cooker bowl
  • Add the apples and the onions
  • In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, apple cider vinegar. Mix well and pour into the slow cooker
  • Cook on low for approximately 7 – 8 hours, or until the apples are soft, and the pork is tender and cooked through
  • Approximately ½ – 1 hour or so before serving, mix together the cornstarch and water, and pour into the slow cooker. Mix around well and replace the lid. Cook the half hour or until the sauce has thickened
  • Serve with rice and enjoy
